ACP’s Career Blueprint: Combating Imposter Syndrome

On July 27th, ACP was joined by panelists Chris Costello and Aaron Taylor for an insightful conversation about combating imposter syndrome in the workplace. Aaron Taylor is a U.S. Army Veteran and Vice President & Regional Head at PIMCO, an investments management firm. Chris Costello is a many-time ACP mentor and Executive Vice President, Worldwide Strategic Accounts for Amazon Business. Together, they brought two dynamic perspectives and stories of professional ascent which helped illustrate how vital self-advocacy and confidence are in the workplace. They focused on leadership techniques, how to overcome doubts, emphasizing the importance of building a community to lean on and walking through the benefits of seeking a mentor. The event concluded with a live Q&A session with the virtual audience.
